Culture Night - Voluteers Wanted

Culture Night will take place on Friday, September 16th, a night of entertainment, discovery and adventure across the country as arts organisations and cultural and historic houses open their doors until late with thousands of free events for all to enjoy.

In Dublin a record 250+ venues will open their doors for Culture Night including Christ Church Cathedral, the National Museum of Ireland, the Science Gallery Trinity College, The Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Castle State Apartments, The Ark, A Cultural Centre for Children, the Chester Beatty Library and many more.

Culture Night is a hugely important event on the cultural calendar providing people with the opportunity to discover and enjoy the rich cultural offering of the country’s cultural venues at night.

Volunteers are a vital part of the night and we are looking to gather a team of people who would like to take part in this annual event.

The main tasks that we will need volunteer assistance for are:

  • Guides on the Culture Night buses
  • Assisting at Information Points
  • Assisting stewards with the outdoor events
  • Assisting with the distribution of Culture Night Packs

We are extremely grateful to past and present volunteers. Culture Night would not come to fruition without your dedicated time and support! Thank You!

Culture Night is brought to you by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht in partnership with the regional arts offices, local authorities and cultural organisations throughout the island of Ireland.
