Event Coordinator
Fitzers Catering are currently recruiting an Events Coordinator for our racecourse division based at Leopardstown racecourse
Role and Responsibilities
- Respond to all sales enquiries in a timely manner to maximise revenue
- Maintain an accurate detailed client database
- Co-ordinate the administration of all events to include signed contracts, event sheets and table plans
- Liaise closely will finance team in relation to billing
- Promote teamwork and quality service through excellent communication and coordination with other departments
- Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with clients and key stakeholders
- Coordinate bar extensions for events as required
- Conduct site visits for social and corporate clients
- Assist clients with menu planning, table arrangements and equipment hire
- Issue post event client satisfaction surveys
- Adhoc admin duties as required
Person Specification
- Highly proficient in MS Office and general computer skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in a hospitality environment is desirable
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Own transport essential - some travel required to Fairyhouse and the Curragh racecourse
